The battlefield was quiet now. Smoke still rose, but the fighting had stopped. Everyone was trying to understand what had just happened. Ezra stood slowly, her body sore, but her mind clearer than ever.
Around her, the survivors were waking up differently.
The old rebels who had once swung swords and fired arrows now had strange energy running through them. Some had glowing marks on their skin. Others had armor that reacted to their thoughts. The lightning had upgraded them with future tech.
On the other side, the tech rebels, who once felt cold and empty, were now feeling something new emotion. They were confused by it. Some laughed. Some cried. For the first time, they felt pain, joy, even hope. The fusion had given them back something human.

From the crowd, two figures stepped forward. One was DRAEV, the legendary war-leader of the Old Rebels. The other was SYNN, a sharp, silent strategist from the future. They had never met before, only heard rumors of each other but now they stood face-to-face.
They didn’t speak much. They didn’t need to. With a single nod, they agreed: no more fighting each other. They would unite.
Ezra smiled faintly. This was the first step. But far away, beyond the clouds and mountains… Veil was watching. He had grown stronger in the chaos, but now he sensed something dangerous: unity.
And he hated it.
From his dark command center in orbit, Commandant Veil pressed a button. Alarms rang out. Machines roared. A giant ship, shaped like a dagger, broke through the planet’s sky.
It wasn’t just a warning.
It was the start of a full planetary attack.
The newly reforged Rebels had no time to celebrate. Their real enemy had arrived and he was bringing war to everyone.
